AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Interior of Kazakhstan Yerlan Turgumbayev commented on SWAT soldiers that are checking documents of citizens near the government and Akorda in Nur-Sultan, Zakon.kz reports. After the government session, journalists asked the Interior Minister what is the reason for such checks.
"We do not have a curfew time. But we have the protected state sites that are subject to state guard. We have a special guard service. Every person entering these buildings (Akorda and government, ministries) should provide documents," Turgumbayev said.
The Minister said he is ready to consider any violations during document checking.
"I am ready for all complains of citizens on illegal detentions or prosecutions," he noted.
Meanwhile, the Minister said that every SWAT employees and police officers have right to check documents, if they have grounds for that.
