Almost 1,500 houses left without gas in Almaty as equipment was stolen

AKIPRESS.COM - Unknowns cut the copper tubes and wires in Alatau district of Almaty, which led to gas outage in almost 1,500 houses, Informbureau reported.
Gas in houses was cut off on September 16 at 7:00 am local time.
Employees of the emergency operations situations of gas found out that someone broke the lock at gas-distributing plant. The unknowns cut the copper tubes and wires, the gas service of Almaty reported.
The works on relaunching of gas is underway. Police are working at the site.
