Lawmakers asks to allocate funds for drilling water well in Mayevka village

AKIPRESS.COM - The Mayevka village has not received funds for the development of infrastructure for last 15 years, said MP Parhat Tulendybaev on Sept 12. "The village population have no drinking water since December, 2018. 10,250 people live in the village, including 15,000 people from residential areas.
The Apsalom public foundation were attracted to drill 300 meters water well, the estimated project cost reached 3.7 million soms. Currently, 150 meters have been drilled, work has been suspended due to lack of funds," Tulendybayev said.
According to him, another 2.5 million soms are needed to complete the work.
Tulendybayev said that local budget has no funds and asked to allocate funds for drilling a well from the state budget.
