MP calls on government to solve problem with renovation of Isfana airport

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Taabaldy Tillayev requested renovation of Isfana airport during the parliament session on Thursday.
The tender for renovation was held several times, but because of the distant location of the airport nobody wants to deal with it, he said.
He asked the government to solve this issue.
Manas international airport said on December 25, 2018 that the airport terminal building will be expanded from 180 m2 to 552.9 m2, which will allow to increase the airport's capacity to 75 passengers per hour. The new terminal will have additional conveniences for passengers. Additionally, the preflight check area will also be expanded for the sake of passenger safety.
Isfana airport is certified by the Civil Aviation Agency to receive flights during the daytime. It has one runway 1,700х35м.
The airport was commissioned in 1974.
