China temporarily closes border with Kyrgyzstan for Mid-Autumn Festival

AKIPRESS.COM - The checkpoints "Torugart-Avtodorojnyi" and "Irkeshtam-Avtodorojnyi" on the Kyrgyz-Chinese state border will be closed on September 13-15, said the State Border Service on Sept 11. The checkpoints are temporarily closed at the initiative of the Chinese side in connection with the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The operation of these checkpoints will be resumed on September 16.
