Quality of water in Issyk-Kul lake meets all norms — State Environmental Agency

AKIPRESS.COM - The quality of water in the Issyk-Kul lake complies to the norms, the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry reported.
All samples taken from the sites met all norms and requirements for fishery basins category on all ingredients, the statement says.
Specialists took water samples from 19 sites.
Among those selected were water samples from river waters from 20 sites.
Selection of water is carried out on 12 components: air temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, nitrate nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, dissolved oxygen, BOD, suspended solids, chlorides, sulfates, surfactants and others.
The Agency said it takes water samples three times a year from the Issyk-Kul lake for analysis.
