Business community, Osh Mayor’s Office sign resolution on improvement city

Osh, Sept.6, 2019 /Kabar/. A practical workshop on the topic "We are for urban development" was held yesterday, Sept.5 on the basis of the Osh State Social University.
The workshop was attended by heads of construction companies, large entrepreneurs and representatives of the business environment in order to develop and implement the Public-Private Partnership Program.
Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov also participated, noting the main purpose of the event is to encourage entrepreneurs to contribute to the development of the country and the city.
"2019 was declared by President of Kyrgyzstan the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the Country. In this regard, we appealed to entrepreneurs and representatives of the business environment to each of them to make efforts to reconstruct and improve the territory around their facilities, install lighting systems.
Today, our main task is to pay special attention to the development of urban infrastructure, to work closely with entrepreneurs on reconstruction of facilities for the benefit of the citizens," the mayor said.
"Already today I was approached by an entrepreneur with a proposal to asphalt 3 km of road in one of the city districts. We will always support businessmen in aspiration to render support to citizens on improvement of a city infrastructure," the mayor emphasized.
"I would like to invite entrepreneurs to assist in the opening of the Foundation for Assistance to People with Disabilities. We are often contacted by citizens in need of assistance on various issues. Most of them are people with disabilities. I think it is necessary to express the initiative to create a fund to help such people," Mayor Sarybashov said.
As a result of the workshop, a resolution was signed on strengthening the interaction of local authorities with representatives of the business community and joint efforts to improve and develop urban infrastructure.
