Governor of Naryn region resigns

AKIPRESS.COM - Governor of Naryn region Amanbai Kayipov submitted a resignation request, government sources said. Kayipov was appointed governor in December 2013. Then he replaced Kanatbek Muratbekov.
Before that, Kayipov was a member of the Bishkek city council and the leader of the SDPK faction.
According to some reports, Emilbek Alymkulov will become the new governor of Naryn. He is now the mayor of Naryn town.
