President Tokayev, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities discuss social and political situation in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on September 3 received the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier, Akorda press service reported. They discussed social and political situation in Kazakhstan, including the issues of forming and implementing state policy in the sphere of inter-ethnic relations.
Zannier informed the President about the current aspects of work and prospect of cooperation between High Commissioner Office and the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan.
Regarding his address to the nation, which he delivered on September 2, Tokayev paid attention to the launch of a work of the National Council of Public Trust.
The two discussed the new principles of youth policy aimed at encouraging youth participation in the social life of the government.
