AKIPRESS.COM - Over 7,000 police officers will protect public order and safety during celebration of the Independence Day in Kyrgyzstan, the Interior Ministry said.
Temporary restrictions for traffic will be introduced on the day of celebrations in central parts of Bishkek.
Security checkpoints will be put up at entry points to the Ala-Too central square.
The movement will be limited in Chui Avenue - from Tynystanov to Togolok Moldo streets, from Erkindik Boulevard to Logvinenko street, from the Panfilov to Razzakov streets and on Abdymomunov street on August 31 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m, the statement said.
