State Commission for Abu Nasr Al-Farabi’s 1150th birth anniversary celebrations created in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree on creation of the State Commission for Preparing for and Holding the Celebrations of the 1150th Birth Anniversary of Abu Nasr Al-Farabi, the press service of Akorda reported.
The celebrations are scheduled foe next year.
The government was tasked to introduce action plans on preparation and holding of the celebrations for consideration of the state commissions until October 1.
The head of state earlier ordered to create a commission on preparation and holding of the 175th anniversary of birth of a poet Abai Kunanbaiuly and confirm the plan until October 1.
