Kyrgyzstanis win two medals at chess tournament in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstanis won two medals at the 19th international chess tournament Maralsay among girls under 20 years, which was held on August 17-27 in Talgar, Kazakhstan.
The Chess Federation of Kyrgyzstan said Kyrgyzstan was represented by 4 young chess players.
In the category of G14 Talant Aruuke gained the first place with 5.5 points.
Arlan Kerimov in the competition under 10 year-olds became a winner of bronze medal with 6 points.
Shabdan Toktobekov and Agniya Kush obtained 5 and 4 points.
The tournament brought together about 200 chess players from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
