New variety of beans grown in Talas Oblast

Bishkek, Aug.20, 2019. /Kabar/. New variety of beans is being grown in Talas Oblast, Marat Murataliyev, the Oblast’s Governor said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
The governor said favorable conditions for local farmers have been created since last year.
"As you know, in Talas Oblast beans are mostly grown. This year's harvest was poor. We haven't changed the type of beans in 30 years; and as a result of negotiations with our partner countries, this year we have planted 40 hectares of seeds grown in Turkey. We hope for a good harvest this autumn, and if everything goes well, we will switch to this variety of beans," Governor Murataliyev said.
