Tokayev orders to double salaries of teachers

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to raise salaries of teachers twice within 4 years at the conference in Nur-Sultan, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
"The salaries of teachers remains one of the lowest and make 65% of average wages on the economy in the country," he noted.
The head of state earlier noted that the teachers goal is to prepare a generation for the future difficulties and challenges.
The August conference of teachers in Nur-Sultan brought together more than 2 thousand teachers from all regions of the country.a
