27,000 cancer patients registered in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - There are 27,000 people diagnosed with cancer diseases in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbayev reported. According to him, 18,000 of them are women and about 2,000 are children.
The Minister said the drugs for cancer patients were purchased in the country for the first time in 2019.
These drugs are very expensive and there is a shortage of funds for them, he noted.
Therefore, only 100 packages of drugs were purchased for women, he added.
