Mirziyoyev receives President of AIIB Jin Liqun

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) led by President Jin Liqunon August 13. Mirziyoyev pointed out the positive dynamics of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and the AIIB, his press office said.
Jin Liqun confirmed the AIIB's commitment to full-scale cooperation with Uzbekistan in order to ensure sustainable development of Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region.
Currently, preparation of the first investment projects on development of water supply and sewerage systems, reconstruction of roads in Bukhara region for $1.3 billion is nearing completion.
