Another conflict occurs between locals and foreign workers in Kazaraganda

AKIPRESS.COM - About 50 young men in Zhairem village of Karaganda region involved in fighting against foreign workers on August 12, Zakon.kz reports.
Locals intruded the checkpoint and came to the territory of the plant that is being built by foreign employees from Turkey. Six foreigners were wounded as a result of the brawl. They were offered medical aid.
"The conflict occurred in Zhairem mining and refining facility between locals and foreign workers. Several foreign workers received minor injuries. Governor of Karaganda region Erlan Koshanov headed to the site for regulation of the situation. Now the conflict has been resolved now," the press service of the governor said.
The conflict occurred due to unfair payment of salaries to Kazakhstani workers, who get less than the foreign ones.
