Journalist and Ombudsman named Senate members in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Journalist Nurtore Zhusip and Ombudsman Askar Shakirov have been appointed as members of the Senate by the decree of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Akorda press service reports.
Nurtore Zhusip has been worked as editor-in-chief of the "Aikyn" newspaper since 2008.
He also served as head of the transport and communication department of the Pavlodar regional newspaper "Sary Arka samaly", deputy editor-in-chief of the Pavlodar regional newspaper "Kyzyl Tu".
Ombudsman Askar Shakirov is a candidate of the legal sciences. He has been worked as the first class Ambassador since September 2000.
