Chairman of Kazakh Parliament meets U.S. Congressmen

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin met with members of the House of Representatives of the U.S Congress David Nunes and Rick Crawford, the press service of the Mazhilis reported.
During the talks, Nigmatulin underlined the strategic partnership between the two countries. He added that the current President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev continues the policy of the first President Nursultan Nazarbayev aimed at social and economic development of the two countries.
The sides spoke for development of Kazakh-American cooperation in various spheres, including in the issues of international security, energy, agriculture and others.
David Nunes highly praised the achievements of Kazakhstan in many areas. He also stressed the constructive development of bilateral relations in fighting terrorism.
