Russian neurosurgeons to travel to Bishkek to examine Chui region police chief, who is in coma

AKIPRESS.COM - The country's leading surgeons and neurosurgeons today held online consilium with director of the Moscow Neurosurgery Center Prof. Alexander Potapov and his specialists concerning treatment of Chiu region police chief Samat Kurmankulov, who is in extremely critical condition. Kurmankulov received brain injuries in the storming of Atambayev's residence in Koi-Tash village on April 7.
The Burdenko Neurosurgery Center will dispatch its neurosurgeon and resuscitation specialist to Bishkek, who will examine Samat Kurmankulov with local specialist and if necessary will correct the treatment.
Kurmankulov is in intensive care. He is in coma. He underwent 2 surgeries.
