Sokuluk district leads in Kyrgyzstan in yield of grain

AKIPRESS.COM - Farmers of Sokuluk district have increased the yield of grain crops having sown new kinds of seeds, Turmush reports. The new seeds were brought from Russia and Canada, Joldosh Ahmedkunov, local agrarian development department, said.
The yield has made from 6 to 8 tons from one hectare. Before they yielded 2.7 tons of barley and 2.8 tons of wheat from a hectare. The district now lead in the yield of grain in the country, the official noted.
The district has already harvested barley, wheat will be harvested in near time.
