15 issues considered at EAEU Intergovernmental Council meeting – Pashinyan

Cholpon-Ata, Aug.9, 2019. /Kabar/. At the regular meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission Intergovernmental Council in Cholpon-Ata 15 issues have been considered, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said during the press conference following the meeting in Cholon-Ata.
He noted agreements had also been reached on many of them and the foundation for the EAEU Supreme Council had been prepared.
"The draft agreement on alcohol market regulation within the EAEU is aimed at removing obstacles in the mutual trade of alcoholic beverages and preventing barriers in the alcohol market of the Union. I hope that we will be able to reach an agreement on this issue as soon as possible," he said.
Another issue was the creation of conditions for the expansion of mutual trade.
"For the Union, it provides for the publication of joint forecasts of the development of the agro-industrial complex, the balance of demand and supply of the EAEU on agricultural products, cotton and wool for 2019-2020.
Obviously, this information will help our rural producers to better navigate the Union’s market and plan their strategy objectively. Further, I would like to note the issue, which provides for the development and approval of the schedule of work on the formation of a common financial market until 2025. This is of fundamental importance for the integration union," he added.
