AKIPRESS.COM - Recognition of the veterinary-sanitary system of Kyrgyzstan equivalent to the EAEU rules is one of the important achievements of 2019, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the summit of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Cholpon-Ata.
"This will create completely different situation for our friends in Kyrgyzstan and fully opens the market for them," he added.
The Russian PM said that the EAEU should finish the internal shape of integration, which needs unification of the legal base, adoption of a number of supernational acts with the help of the existing road map.
According to him, over the last 2.5 years of work of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council 37 out of 55 economic and administrative barriers have been eliminated, including 5 this year.
