Minor earthquake recorded in southern Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - A 3.5-magnitude earthquake has been registered in southern Kyrgyzstan on August 9 at 1:58 am, the National Seismology Institute reported. The quake was centered 8 km north-west of the village of Toguz-Bulak, 10 km north-east of Kurak village, 11 km south-west of Kaptal village, 11 km south-east of Iyrek village, 11 km south-east of Uch-Kaptal village, 12 km south-west of Kaza-Jygach village, 17 km north-west of Gulcha village.
Tremors in Toguz-Bulak, Kurak, Kaptal, Iyrek, Uch-Kaptal villages were felt at 3 points, in Kara-Jygach, Gulcha, Chaichi villages - 2.5 points.
