Reinforcement producing plant operates in Kyzyk-Kiya town

AKIPRESS.COM - The reinforcement producing plant operated in the Kyzyk-Kiya town of the Batken region, following the journalists press tour. According to the head of the enterprise Shukhrat Khasanbaev, 25 tons of enforcement are produced daily.
"There was a miners workshop in 1920. Most of the workshops were closed after the collapse of the Soviet Union. My father along with Chinese investors opened "Central electric workshop" plant. The equipment for producing the reinforcement was purchased for $1 million in 2010," he said.
Khasanbayev added that 60 people are working on the plant, including 8 Chinese citizens and other are locals. The wages of the workers estimated at 25,000-30,000 soms in a month.
"We take raw materials from locals. We buy up iron at 14 soms per kilogram. The produced products are sold on the territory of the Batken region and are also exported to Uzbekistan. The cost of 1 ton of reinforcement is 30 000 soms and 1 kg is 30 soms," he said.
