EEC Council adopts document identifying strategic cooperation areas of economic integration until 2025

AKIPRESS.COM - The economy ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union member states at the session of the Eurasian Economic Council in Issyk-Kul region adopted a document determining the strategic areas of development of economic integration until 2025, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The participants noted that the main task is elimination of barriers and restrictions in trade for increasing potential of strategically important sectors of the economy of the EAEU.
The Russian Minister of Economy expressed hope that a full integration system of control will eliminate the barriers. He noted that amid the current anti-Russian policies new opportunities are being created for the EAEU member states. The Kazakh side proposed to develop a joint strategy of export of products of the member states to the third countries.
The next meeting will be held in Moscow in three months.
