Production and distribution of tonic low-alcohol drinks might be banned in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan offers to introduce amendments to the law on state regulation of production and distribution of ethyl alcohol, retail sale of alcoholic beverages, using alcoholic products, tonic low-alcohol and non-alcoholic products, the draft resolution reads.
The ban of production and sale of alcoholic products with at least 15% of ethyl alcohol containing tonic components is proposed to be introduced on the experience of Russia.
The justification note says that the users of energy alcoholic drinks are more subject to dangerous ways to consume alcohol (constant drinking of a big volume of alcohol drinks) than the usual users of alcohol.
They are also more likely to commit violance or subject to being abused themselves, the note says.
Researces revealed that a high level of alcohol and coffein in blood create an affect of a heavy speepless drinker.
