Resort spilling dirty water into Alakol lake about to suspend its work

AKIPRESS.COM - The environmental department of Akmolin region has raided the ALMATRADEGROUP LLC on the case of release of wastewater into the Alakol lake. The water was unlawfully discharged from the pipes of two pools located on the shore of the lake.
Laboratory examination revealed violation of wastewater release without the relevant permits.
In this regard, the owner of the resort was imposed fine and tasked to repair pipes through which the dirty water had been released.
The Department of Ecology of Almaty region will instigate a lawsuit on suspension of activities of the enterprise in court.
