Parliament of Kyrgyzstan to convene extraordinary session at 14:00

Clashes between the SWAT soldiers and supporters of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev occurred in his home in Koi-Tash village on August 7 evening.
The National Security Committee special forces soldiers tried to arrest Atambayev by storming his house. Several SWAT soldiers were taken hostage by Atambayev's supporters.
More than 50 people were injured, one SWAT soldier died.
