More than 22,000 Kazakhstanis leave country in H1 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 22,000 citizens of Kazakhstan in the first half of 2019 have processed documents for exit from the country for permanent residency in other countries, LS reported.
According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs, most of them left for Russia for permanent residency (19,650 people), Germany (1,400), Poland (321), Uzbekistan (238), Belarus (162) and Kyrgyzstan (129).
The report says that 130 Kazakhstanis went to the U.S, 53 - to Israel and 45 - to Canada during the reported period.
Out of the total number of those leaving for permanent residency to other countries, 5,800 Kazakhstanis are under-aged people.
Most citizens that exited from the country were from West Kazakhstan region - almost 3,000, Kostanay - more than 2,900, Karaganda - 2,800, Pavlodar - almost 2,300, Nur-Sultan - more than 2,000 and Almaty - more than 1,900.
Kazakhstan became a leader on out-nigration among the Eurasian Economic Union countries.
