5 citizens of Kyrgyzstan killed in road accident in Kazakhstan, 3 others severely injured

AKIPRESS.COM - Five people died, 3 others received severe injuries in Kazakhstan after collision of a track with a car on August 1, Tengrinews.kz reports. The incident happened on the West Europe - West China highway. A driver of the truck was a citizen of Kazakhstan. All 8 passengers of the car were citizens of Kyrgyzstan. 5 of them died and 3 others are in critical conditin. The truck driver was not wounded, the report says.
According to the Kyzylorda regional police department, the truck was moving from Turkestan. Now the case is being investigated.
Chief of the regional police Amirzhan Utegenov said the probe was launched against the truck driver.
According to the preliminary reports, he violated the traffic rules. He did not give a way to the car.
The patients are under the control of specialists, deputy head of the health department of Kyzylorda region Olzhas Iskakov said.
