Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan, Japan hold political consultations

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov today met Special Representative for Central Asia of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hideki Uyamu, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit.
The sides discussed relevant aspects of bilateral cooperation.
The sides praised the outcomes of the meeting of Uzbekistan-Japan Committee for Economic Cooperation, visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Japan, where they met heads of ministries and government agencies, leading producers and financial organizations.
The 17th round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Japan was held the same day. The sides considered current bilateral cooperation and its prospects in trade, political, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, multilateral cooperation.
