Tokayev offers condolence over death of President of Tunisia

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a condolence letter over the death of President of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi, Akorda press service reported. The head of state on behalf of the Kazakh nation and on his behalf expressed condolence.
"Beji Caid Essebsi devoted his life to prospering of the Tunisian people, protection of interests of his countrymen. Kazakhstanis always will remember Beji Caid Essebsi as a brave statesmen, respectful in the politics, contributing to strengthening of bilateral cooperation," the letter reads.
Beji Caid Essebsi died on July 25 at the age of 92. Over the past months, he has been hospitalized due to health problems. He was ruling the country since 2014.
