Rivals of Kyrgyz national futsal team in selection for Asian Championship

Bishkek, July 25, 2019. /Kabar/. The rivals of the Kyrgyz national futsal team in the qualifying round of the Asian Championship - 2020 have been determined.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Football Federation reported that the toss was held today at the Asian Football Confederation headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, where six teams were divided into two groups. Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Nepal are in the A, while Iran, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan are in the B groups.
The final part, which will be held in Turkmenistan, features winners and second places in groups. The national team of Turkmenistan, as the host of the upcoming championship, has already secured a place among the 16 best teams.
"Thus, all teams leave the group B regardless of the results of qualification. The qualifying round in the and Southern zone will be held from on October 16-27 in Iran, the press service of the Federation said.
Futsal (also known as fútsal or footsal) is a variant of association football played on a hard court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It can be considered a version of five-a-side football.
