Kazakh police start robust investigation of poachers attack on inspectors

AKIPRESS.COM - By order of Minister of Interior of Kazakhstan Erlan Turgumbayev, a group of law enforcement officers from the central office of the Ministry was sent to Akmolin region for investigation of poachers attack on inspectors, Zakon.kz reports.
Police continue searching for location of the criminals today.
A helicopter is involved in the operation.
Two inspectors on July 23 received gunshots while attempting to catch the poachers and prevent killing saigas. As a result, one of them was killed before arrival of doctors. The second inspector with severe traumas was delivered to a hospital.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev offered condolences to relatives of the killed inspector and ordered to award him with state award.
The head of state after the incident ordered toughen control over poaching in the country.
