Situation on Kyrgyz-Tajik border remains unchanged

AKIPRESS.COM - The situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border remains unchanged, the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan said. The border detachments in Batken keep the high alert posture.
The border guards of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan jointly patrol the border conflict area according to the agreement reached during the talks held between the heads of the Border Services of two countries.
The Isfana-Batken and Isfara-Vorukh roads remain closed.
The border guards and local authorities from both sides are meeting locals to prevent further escalation of the situation.
