Mongolian citizen arrested in Moscow for launching quadcopter on Red Square

AKIPRESS.COM - A citizen of Mongolia was detained in Moscow for launching quadcopter on the Red Square, the new agency Moscow reported with reference to a source in law enforcement bodies. The 22-year-old Mongolian was arrested on July 18. The detainee is registered as a resident of Dublin. The materials were handed over to the Federal Transportation Inspection Service for establishment of measures for his actions, the source said.
The quadcopter was not seized during detention, source noted.
The Ministry of Transport of Russia by a decree dated December 17, 2018 banned flights of aircraft and drones above Moscow. One should get a permit for this.
