Tajikistan Ambassador pay working visit to Japan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Japan Mr. Jalolov Mirzosharif paid a working visit to Akita Prefecture, during which he met with Vice-Governor of Prefecture Mr. Makoto Kawahara on July 17.
During the conversation, which took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, the sides focused their attention on the activation and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in various directions.
On July 18 Ambassador visited the Akita University of Japan, where he met with its President Prof. Fumio Yamamoto.
During the meeting with Prof. Fumio Yamamoto, the two sides discussed the possibilities of direct collaboration with the universities of the Republic of Tajikistan and exchange of students and young scholars.
On the same day, Ambassador delivered a lecture to researchers and students of the Akita University on the theme "Tajikistan's Open Door Policy and its Diplomatic Relations with Japan".
Later, Ambassador Tajikistan held a meeting with Mr. Hiroyuki Sato, Vice-Chairperson of Akita Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the establishment of contacts in the commerce and industrial areas and discussed the possibilities of establishing direct cooperation between Tajik and Japanese entrepreneurs and investors.
