Police say interrogation of Atahanov failed

AKIPRESS.COM - The Interior Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said it could not question former Vice Prime Minister Shamil Atahanov as he felt bad and taken by ambulance, police reported. Atahanov was summoned on July 18 at 1:30 pm to the interrogation on the illegal freeing of Aziz Batukayev.
"Interrogation failed, as he felt bad. The ambulance was called and Atahanov was taken to the hospital," the report said.
Atahanov was detained on May 21 on the Batukayev case. He was released from the remand prison after he has plea-bargained with investigators.
