Employees of State Registration Service suspected of illegal registration of imported cars

AKIPRESS.COM - Employees of the State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan are suspected of corruption, the National Security Committee reports. The preliminary damage from their illegal actions is estimated at more than 2 million som.
Now the GKNB is investigating the case against employees of the State Registration Service, who organized legalization of automobiles that were imported in Kyrgyzstan without customs payments from the Baltic states, the U.S. and Georgia.
Investigation showed that 2 cars were transported to the country on this corruption scheme. Currently, the law enforcement bodies are carrying out works on prevention of such facts and establishing involvement of the employees in illegal registration of cars.
