Nur-Sultan – Shanghai flight to open in Q1 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan and Nur-Sultan mayor's office signed memorandums of understanding with China Eastern Airlines and Urumqi Airlines, the press service of the Committee reported. The memorandums of understanding envisage a launch of flights from Nur-Sultan to Shanghai in the first quarter of 2020, the report says.
At a moment, the capital of Kazakhstan is connected by a direct flight with the capital of China - Beijing (operated by Air Astana), Urumqi (Air Astana) and Hainan Island (Scat). Flights to Beijing are operated from Almaty (flights are operated by Air Astana and Hainan Airlines), Hong Kong (Air Astana), Urumqi (Air Astana and China Southern Airlines) and to Hainan Island (Scat).
