Uzbek-Afghan business forum held in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - The Uzbekistan-Afghanistan business forum was held on July 15 in Tashkent. More than 200 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, line ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan partook in the event, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan said. The Uzbek-Afghan free trade zone was presented. The zone was opened this spring in a move to bolster bilateral trade.
B2B and G2B talks were held during the forum. The agreements were reached on establishment of new contacts and expansion of the ties between businesses of two countries.
