Talks on delimitation of Kyrgyz-Tajik state border held

Bishkek, July 16, 2019. /Kabar/. The working groups of the government delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border met in Isfara city, Tajikistan to speed up the description of the remaining sections of the state border.
In the course of the talks, the sides made a working description of the state border line and discussed proposals to describe the remaining sections of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported.
The Kyrgyz, Tajik sides reached an agreement to conduct joint field surveys of certain sections of the state border in Batken region of Batken Oblast. The talks were held in the spirit of mutual understanding and in a friendly atmosphere.
The next meeting is planned to be held in the territory of Tajikistan.
