Kazakhstan to spent more than $150 million for construction of air strip

AKIPRESS.COM - 60 billion tenge of the state budget will be allocated for construction of a new air strip of Kazakhstan's airport in Nur-Sultan, Atameken Business reported.
The length of the air strip will be 3.5 km, width - 60 meters. Chairman of the Astana International Airport JSC Radilbek Adimolda said that the new air strip will start operating in 2023. according to him, construction of an alternate air strip is the best practice.
The alternate air strip is needed due to the increasing number of flights, Adimolda noted.
According to him, the airport owes the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. The company took 24 billion tenge loan for construction of a new terminal.
