Long queue of trucks seen at Kazakh-Kyrgyz border checkpoint

AKIPRESS.COM - There is a long queue of trucks both on Kyrgyz and Kazakh side of the state border at Ak-Tilek - Road checkpoint, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports. The photo and video of the current situation on border were posted on Facebook.
The State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan explained the situation saying the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan had imposed restrictions for trucks. The vehicles are waiting in the queue for 2-3 days. There are about 40 trucks from Kazakhstan on the territory of the checkpoint.
The Ministry of Transport reported that Kyrgyzstan in summer periods annually bans truck movement from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm when the air temperature is higher than 28°C for prevention of asphalt pavement damage.
