Over 54 agreements signed at CIS tourism exhibition in Samarkand

AKIPRESS.COM - The first CIS tourism exhibition opened on July 9 in Samarkand.
More than 54 agreements on partnership and further cooperation between CIS countries were signed, including the agreement on cooperation between the Association of Private Tour Operators of Uzbekistan, Armenian Federation of Tourism and Belarus Union, Association of Hoteliers of Uzbekistan and Association of Resorts of Kyrgyzstan.
The event brought together representatives of line ministries and department of Uzbekistan, partners and visitors from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, business circles, media representatives, the State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The program of the event includes opening of the tourism fair, meeting of the CIS tourism council, presentations of new combined routes and guides, seminar on tourism in the CIS region, challenges and new opportunities.
