Jeenbekov departs for Switzerland

Bishkek, July 9, 2019. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov flew to the Swiss Confederation at the invitation of Swiss President Ueli Maurer, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
In the framework of the official visit, Jeenbekov will meet with Swiss President Ueli Maurer, Chairman of the National Council of the Federal Assembly Marina Carobbio Guscetti, Chairman of the National Bank Thomas Jordan.
It is planned to discuss the promotion of bilateral Kyrgyz-Swiss relations, the development of trade, economic and banking sectors, attracting investments in promising sectors of the Kyrgyz economy and building a parliamentary democracy.
A number of documents are expected to be signed in the sphere of economy, finance, tourism, and drinking water supply to the regions of the country.
The head of state will also meet with representatives of big business in Switzerland with the participation of entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan.
The Kyrgyz official delegation consist of:
- Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov;
- Daniyar Sydykov, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Switzerland Daniyar Mukashev;
- Vice Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Mirlan Bakirov;
- Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Ismailova;
- Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Abtandil Kulbarakov;
- Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Sanjar Mukanbetov;
- Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktygul Zheenbaeva;
- Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkunbek Abdygulov.
