European Union to extend 35 million euros assistance to Kyrgyzstan for educational reforms

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan and the European Union signed a financial agreement for the education program worth 35.76 million euros for 2019-2021, Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov said.
Aidarbekov today met with High Representative of the European Union Federica Mogherini in Bishkek.
This is the budgetary support of the European Union within the framework of the multi-year indicative program of the EU and the Kyrgyz Republic.
This EU assistance is aimed at supporting the Government of Kyrgyzstan in implementing structural reforms in the education sector, the Minister said.
