External debt of Uzbekistan reaches $19.1 billion

AKIPRESS.COM - The gross external debt of Uzbekistan amounted to $19.1 billion by April 1, having grown by 10.3% or for $1.8 billion since the beginning of the year, the central bank of Uzbekistan said.
The public external debt kept growing in the first quarter of 2019 due to new borrowings for financing of government economic development programs.
