General Directorate of Road Safety ready for 2019 tourist season

Bishkek, June 27, 2019. /Kabar/. "The staff of the General Directorate of Road Safety is ready to ensure safety and public order in the tourist season," Nur Satybaldiyev, the Deputy Head of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that a plan of action on ensuring security during the summer tourist season was developed together with other agencies.
"In connection with the beginning of the tourist season, the agency has installed 3 shifts of inspectors, which are divided into sections. We have also developed booklets and stickers for car tourists, which contain information about the numbers of law enforcement agencies, the location of ATMs, catering, hotels," Satybaldiyev said.
Stickers and booklets are distributed free of charge at state border and airport checkpoints.
"There are 16 banners on the territory of Issyk-Kul Oblast and 6 banners in Chui Oblast with information about observance of traffic rules and indication of passage to Issyk-Kul. The personnel are ready to ensure public order and safety on the roads," Nur Satybaldiyev summed up.
